Welcome to Class 3

Dear Parents and Carers,

Welcome to the new school year and welcome to Class 3! We are looking forward to an exciting year ahead filled with learning, growth, and discovery.

Here is some key information to help you and your child prepare for the weeks ahead.

Meet the Team

This year, Class 3 will be taught by Mrs Houghton. We are also very lucky to be supported in class by our wonderful teaching assistants, Mrs Carlin and Mrs Teeboon.

Weekly Schedule

To help your child stay organised, please note our key weekly schedules:

• PE Days: Tuesday and Wednesday. Please ensure your child comes to school in their school PE kit on both of these days.
• Music: Tuesday. Your child will need to bring any personal instruments or music folders on this day.

Our First Topic

We are kicking off the term with our fantastic new topic: Vikings, Saxons, and Supernovas. This exciting blend of history and science will see us exploring early British history before launching into the wonders of space and stars.
