School Council

Meet 2018/2019 School Council Representatives :

Our School Council represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community.

School Council Aims:

To make sure that our school is a safe and happy place for children.

To make sure that children have a place to voice their concerns.

To encourage all children in the school to suggest improvements.

To make sure any suggestions or concerns are listened to and acted upon.

We will do this by:

Talking to our classmates to gain ideas and suggestions.

Making sure that everyone’s views and opinions are valued.

Having regular meetings to share our ideas.

Autumn Term;

Raising Money for Children in Need

During the week leading up to the televised Children in Need, we led various activities throughout the week that all children could participate in. We had fabulous fun and managed to raise an amazing £85 towards the charity,

The Problem With Plastic!

Two of our Parliament Members attended a cluster event on Monday 19th November to discuss what happens to your recycling. We shared our discoveries with the rest of the school during collective Worship and hope as a council we can come up with some ideas how Youlgrave  can help battle this problem
