How we do share the Word of God in our school?

Harvest Collective Worship 7 October 2020

Autumn 1 half term

Our theme this half term is Generosity. We will be looking at how we are generous as well as celebrating how God is generous by sharing His creation with us all. We will also be celebrating Harvest Thanksgiving.

Responding to Bishop Libby's Harvest appeal 2019

At Youlgrave All Saints we have been thinking about Harvest time. Bishop Libby invited us to think of people who were facing a time of difficulty as their homes and lives were damaged by the weather. We all listened to the story of Mary and her family and reflected on what we can do to help. Our School Council listened to their friends in school and decided to raise money to send to the appeal. So, on Friday 28th February 2020, Classes 2 and 3 had a sleep over in school with the money raised going to the Bishop's appeal. We raised £210.
