We have an Eco-Council at Youlgrave All Saints' Primary School who work together, thinking of ways to make our school more environmentally friendly. So far, we have sorted the rubbish in classrooms and given each class a bin for: recycling, compost and general waste. We have made signs to go next to light switches and taps to help remind each other to switch off lights to save electricity and turn off taps to save water!
We are planning on organising a litter pick on the playing fields to help keep our community clean.

The Wildlife Trust are running their annual nature challenge, 30 Days Wild! They want you to do one wild thing a day throughout the whole month: for your health, wellbeing and for the planet.
You’ll get a free, downloadable pack of goodies to help you plan your wild month, plus lots of ideas to inspire you to stay wild all throughout June (and beyond!).
If you're interested in taking part in the challenge, follow the link below to sign up.
I will also post this in the Eco-Warriors section on our school website.
Thank you and take care,
