As we hope to be back at school together soon, why not try out any of the activities that you've not had chance to do, or else select your 3 favourite ones, ready to show me in our lesson next week.

As usual, don't forget to ask your adults for permission first, so that they can check that you have enough space and are working safely.

Try and get the whole family involved and make sure you look at the notes that tell you how to make it easier or harder.

Hi Everyone. Miss Tonks here.
I'm wondering how you got on with last week's bat and ball activities? We tried them out at school too, and it was amazing to see the improvement, the more we practised. Keep working on that activity even though we'll be moving on to something new each week. If you have a younger brother or sister at home, I'd really like you to encourage them to do it too. You could even get the whole family involved and have a competition against your grown-ups! In my house we use an old trophy and it gets awarded to the current champion each day.
This week I'd like you to try Lesson 3: Throwing for Accuracy.
You will need some containers and some things to throw - rolled up socks are brilliant for this, but you could use some soft toys or something similar. Please don't throw anything inside that could cause any damage and always check with your adults before you start the activity. Do the activities outside wherever possible.
Watch the short video. The children in the video are younger than you, but the skills used are ones which we will apply to many sports and physical activities. Pause it if you need time to read anything and especially pay attention to the suggestions to make the game easier or more challenging. Remember to keep your eyes on the target!

Staying fit and healthy is really important for our physical health and our mental health. Try the Lesson 1 Ball Co-ordination activity below that Miss Tonks has put on our PE page. What else will you be doing to stay fit and helathy during lockdown? Will you be dog walking, just walking, running, skipping, roller skating, bike riding, farming, gardening? Can you post any pictures of yourself keeping active over lockdown.
