Collective worship is a vital and cherished time for our children. It provides a peaceful space for them to reflect on themselves, their actions, and the teachings of God and Jesus.
Throughout the week, children participate in various worship sessions designed to inspire, challenge, and unite our school community.
Our worship sessions follow a distinct pattern of Welcoming, Learning, Reflecting, and Responding. We link these steps directly to our three spiritual lenses:
We kick off the week by gathering as a whole school, either in our school hall or at the church.
Children gather in their individual classrooms for a more intimate session. Together, they share, discuss, and think deeply about different Bible stories.
We come back together as a whole school to look at current global events through a religious and spiritual lens, helping children connect faith to the modern world.
A joyful session where children learn a vibrant range of seasonal songs. We incorporate these tracks into our daily assemblies and special church events.
We end our week together as a whole school community with a celebration service held inside the church.
