Collective Worship

Roots and Fruits is a 2 year programme of fully worked creative collective worship materials, rooting Christian values in stories from the Bible and linking to seasons to the Church year. It follows the same pattern for each workshop of welcoming, learning, reflecting and responding, which are linked to our spiritual values of Windows, Doors and Mirrors. The worship is enriched by the use of: Quotes and questions to encourage deeper thinking about each value, photographs and posters to root the teaching in everyday experience of children, stories, poems and art, prayers and guided reflections and an activity to show children’s learning which is displayed in class.

We use these resources every Monday in Collective Worship to reflect on our Christian Values. This term's value is 'Thankfulness'.
