Collective Worship

Collective worship is an important time for the children. It enables them to reflect on themselves and think about the teaching of God and Jesus.

Throughout the week the children take part in a number of different collective worship session.

On a Monday the class take part in Picture news. This allows the children to look at a news article that is current. They have the opportunity to discuss this and talk about how the news article makes them feel. This is then linked to our British values.

The children also take part in Roots and Fruits. They listen to a story, relating to the Bible. The talk about how this story can link to their own lives and what it is teaching us.

On a weekly basis they take part in singing as a class.

And every Friday we have whole school collective worship, where we celebrate the achievements of the children.
