Work for week beginning Monday 22nd February.

Below you will find links for Y5 and Y6 worksheets, videos and answer sheets. Y5 are doing ...............this week and Y6 are doing ................ There are also sets of sheets, videos and answers for those of you who would normally find what the rest of us are doing in class a bit trickier. Please make sure you are completing work each day and writing the date and LO in your book. If you are stuck I am on Teams to help you so please call in! If you could use the answer sheets to self-assess your work as well that would be really useful!

For each lesson I would expect all of you to finish Q3 on the sheets. Most of you should be able to get to the end of Q5 without too much trouble and some of you will be able to complete Q6 and Q7 at home. The questions do get harder, so just do as much as you can each day.

The way we have done maths since September is how we are going to do it now. If you are a Y6 who sometimes starts with some Y5 work then it's OK to do that at home too. If you are a Y5 or Y6 who normally has some help from myself or Mrs Houghton to get started, or you do some different work to help build upto the work in class then choose the sheets at the bottom.

Y6 Division Revision.

We have done this before - just before we went into Lockdown. If you are finding the division process straightforward in Monday and Tuesday's lessons start at questions 4 and complete to question 8 on Wednesday and Thursday's work. If you are looking for an extra challenge try the work in the 'Try New Things' Star - but please make sure you date and label what work you are doing so I can mark it properly.

Long division (1)

Long division (2)

Long division (3)

Long division (4)

You will have done division by one digit before. If you are happy that you undersand the work in Monday and Tuesday's lesson you could try the Y6 lessons on Wednesday and Thursday. Please make sure you clearly date and label which work you are completing so that I can mark it properly.

Divide 2-digits by 1-digit

Divide 3-digits by 1-digit

Divide 4-digits by 1-digit

Divide with remainders

IF YOU NORMALLY FIND THE WORK IN CLASS A BIT TRICKY DO THE WORK BELOW AND USE THE VIDEOS TO HELP.

I haven't put as many worksheets on this week but I would like you to try and complete all of questions on both worksheets by splitting worksheet one over Monday/Tuesday and worksheet two over Wednesday/ Thursday.

If you need more work to do have a look at the work in the Y5 section.

Divide 2-digits by 1-digit (1)

Divide 2-digits by 1-digit (2)
