School Council

At Youlgrave All Saints' Primary School we are proud to have pupil representatives that take part in School Council meetings.  The council is in place so that pupils have a voice and are involved in decisions about the school that affect them. Through School Council all pupils have the opportunity to raise issues, share ideas and take part in discussions that involve all of their classmates in reaching a democratic solution. We hold meetings each week on a Thursday.

Our School Council also take an active part in fundraising, they are responsible for selling items at break times, for example during The Poppy Appeal.

This term we have been discussing: enlightened

  • how we can improve the toilets in school working with Mrs Stafford Wood.
  • Ideas for our House Points in school.
  • asking our peers about ideas they would like to see for improvements in and around school.
