Homework will be handed out on a Friday and will be due back in on the following Wednesday morning. The children will receive house points for homework being in early and on time. 

They will receive a weekly math and English task for them to complete. These will differ week by week, depending on the work completed in class. The year 6 children will also be recieving work related to their SAT's preparation. 

It is also important that the children continue to learn and increase their fluency for their times tables. The children have access to TT Rockstars.

It is also important to encourage the children to read each evening and I have asked that they read to an adult and have their record book signed at least once a week by an adult.

Alongside this they have weekly spellings to learn. These are a mix of the year 5/6 common exception words and words found within different spelling patterns.
